Alice Cade

Choreographer Alice Cade graduated with BA(Hons) in Dance Theatre from Laban (2004), where she trained in contemporary and classical technique, performance, choreography and Laban Studies with tutors such as Gill Clarke, Wendy Houstoun and Susan Sentler.

Alice is particularly interested in the communicative possibilities of puppetry combined with dance. Her recent production 'Bobroshkov's Dream' uses innovative puppetry techniques that combine the expressive qualities of physical theatre with the magic of puppetry. The performer is part dancer, part puppeteer and part puppet. The result is powerful, illusive and touching.

"Heartwarming, dreamlike, poignant, funny... the audience loved Bobroshkov's Dream."

"An ingenious hybrid of dance and puppetry. It is hard not to be both riveted and charmed."
