Eleanor made her Wigmore Hall debut on October 13th last year. She is very grateful to Marisa Robles for her help in preparation for this concert. Click here to hear a clip from the live recording which was made at the concert by Simon Vout, Orientis Recordings.
 
Salvi Harps organise numerous events around Europe every year. Eleanor is honoured to have been invited to perform at some of these, including a performance with cellist Marco Allocco in Savigliano, Italy, and solo recitals in Catania (Italy) and Seville (Spain). Eleanor looks forward to returning to Italy in May, to give a solo recital and masterclass in Isernia.
 
Life for Eleanor's students has also been busy! Twelve harpists played beautifully in a Christmas Charity Harp Concert in December 2008, raising £370 for The Children's Society. (See picture of Eleanor presenting the cheque to Alan Beavan, from The Children's Society.) Eleanor's pupils have also been successful in harp examinations, festivals and competitions.
 
Eleanor has been working on two recording projects this year: the new 4 Girls 4 Harps CD, entitled Fireworks and Fables, and a CD of John Metcalf's works for chamber music with harp, recorded on the Signum Classics label. Eleanor is joined by the Solstice String Quartet, with Philippa Davies on flute and the clarinettist David Campbell, for that recording.   clef
